We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium Web Driver and Java to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality delivery across web and API applications. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver with Java.
- Build, enhance, and optimize scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to analyze requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, or Bugzilla.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality automation standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Web Driver automation using Java.
- Proficiency in Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns.
- Experience working with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and the SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, and version control practices.
- Experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with cross‑environment test execution and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL).
- Exposure to performance testing tools is a plus.
