Sr Java Developer - batch

Overview

Infosys is seeking a Sr Java Developer - Spring batch. In this role, one will be responsible to act as a trusted analytical and technical "hands-on" development leader that provides technical guidance to scrum team members including developers and quality engineers. You will be accountable for seamless integration of the global delivery management teams through frequent communication of priorities, updates in direction and status to ensure overall team alignment.

This role also is the first line of adherence to software engineering best practices and to resolve blockers and other technically related problems the team may be struggling with.

• Provide technical guidance to the scrum team including developers and quality engineers.
• Ensure alignment and communication with global delivery management teams on priorities, direction, and status.
• Adhere to software engineering best practices and resolve blockers and technical problems.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of APIs using REST and Graph
  
  QL.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and traceability.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand user story acceptance criteria and provide accurate story point estimations.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years' experience with Information Technology.

• Excellent in designing and implementing microservices with a strong focus on scalability and performance while ensuring API security, monitoring and availability.

• At least 2 years of knowledge about AWS Services like Lambda, S3, RDS, MSK Kafka and other services.
• Lead design, development and deployment of APIs using REST and Graph
  
  QL.
• Developed batch jobs using Spring Batch for data processing and integration.
• Understanding of unit test procedures and tools such as JUnit, NUnit, Mockito, SoapUI.
• Technical expertise in architectural principles and design aspects of various applications and DBMS concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and ability to consistently execute core components of the methodology.
• Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and work collaboratively with various functions within the solution context.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience providing technical leadership for complex projects.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
