Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer at BSC Analytics, you’ll be part of a high-performing team of four to five engineers tackling complex platform challenges for large-scale enterprises. Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 / hour

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs to support AI/ML-powered applications.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to product ionize models, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability across backend systems.
• Build robust observability — monitoring, logging, and alerting — for deployed applications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (frontend, product management, Dev Ops, ML engineers) to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Stay on top of emerging technologies and advocate for smart adoption that keeps us ahead of the curve.

You’ll be a key contributor to our backend architecture — designing APIs, scaling distributed systems, and collaborating closely with AI and product teams to bring cutting-edge ideas to production.

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• 3+ years Python and Node.js experience required
• 5+ years of backend development experience
• 5+ years of API design (REST and Graph
  
  QL) and microservices experience
• 5+ years of multicloud experience, AWS + Azure required
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience
• 3+ years of SQL and No
  
  SQL experience
• 2+ years of Dev Ops experience
• AI/ML lifecycle experience required
• Asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture experience
• High growth environment experience
