Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the software development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement development processes and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the development team.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET, Typescript, GoLang) and development frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
