Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a strong Senior Java Developer with good technical expertise, to be responsible for the backend development distributed platform for one of the largest world-leading retailers. You will be working as a key member of this collaborative team with a group of experts recognized around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to play a role as a key contributor in creating the next generation of network-centric distributed and scalable architectures.

We work with bleeding-edge technologies, including J2EE, building microservices, variety of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google cloud platform etc., OO Programming, using Agile Development Methodology and much more.

• Design and implement server-side logic for backend services.
• Develop and maintain APIs to support frontend and external integrations.
• Manage and optimize databases for performance and reliability.
• Monitor server health and troubleshoot application issues.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Dropwizard, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in Oracle database, SQL, Snowflake, and Liquibase.
• Familiarity with Kafka consumer configuration.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECR) and RESTful API design principles.
• Proficiency in Git, Docker, and Gradle.
