We are a team responsible for developing and maintaining the OCI Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) datapath Stack. Currently, we seek experienced C/C++ software developers who possess expertise and enthusiasm in addressing complex challenges related to high-availability, virtualized networks, and network packet processing. These are remarkable times, as our team is experiencing rapid expansion and engaging in numerous ambitious initiatives.

We are looking for Principal engineers and senior software engineers with a background in cloud networking datapath.

• 5+ years of experience with systems/networking development
• 5+ years of experience with network programming
• Proficient at programming in C++ and experience with Python
• Proficient with Linux
• Proficient in Networking
• Bachelor's in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields

• Prior development experience with network protocol implementation, or network packet processing
• Linux Kernel module level of knowledge
• Experience in Linux file systems, kernel, and debugging Linux internals
• Experience with Agile Development
• Prior cloud experience in datapath
• Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields

As a Principal Member/ Sr. software engineer on the Dataplane team, you will design and develop major core components of Oracle’s Virtual Cloud Network. You are responsible for delivering high‑speed packet processing architectures and other distributed systems that provide networking features such as TCP/UDP packet processing, access controls, metrics, and monitoring dashboards.

Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
