Applications Developer

Job Description

This position develops on top of the Net Suite platform to maintain, improve, and build functionality for Oracle’s internal copy of Net Suite. The developer works remotely as part of a large global team and requires strong programming skills.

• Program and develop software on the Net Suite platform, resolving development and troubleshooting issues to deliver final delivery on time.
• Analyze problems of varying complexity and evaluate conditions using multiple information sources.
• Collaborate with a global remote team to deliver quality feature work on time and provide technical expertise to Product Managers.
• Perform peer and code reviews for team members.

• 8+ years of programming or technical implementation experience.
• Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and ability to deliver code on schedule.
• Familiarity with general programming languages, design patterns, and related concepts; experience building web-based applications preferred.
• Programming experience in java, java script, or Net Suite Suite Script preferred.
• Excellent communication and English skills; track record of working with local and remote teams to deliver quality products.
• Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience.
