• Support end-to-end software engineering for microservices architectures, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient backend services.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, service decomposition, API gateway usage, service discovery, fault tolerance, and scalability considerations.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with appropriate JSON/XML handling and versioning.
• Work with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Engage with messaging and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka) for event-driven architectures.
• Utilize configuration management and service discovery tools (Spring Cloud Config, Eureka, Consul, Zookeeper).
• Leverage API gateways (Zuul, Spring Cloud Gateway, Kong) to route, secure, and monitor API traffic.
• Engage with build and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Circle
  
  CI) and Java build tools (Maven or Gradle).
• Monitor and log using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK or Splunk stacks; perform API and system testing (JUnit, Mockito, Postman or REST Assured).
• Operate with version control (Git) and collaborate in agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 3–5 years focused on creating microservices and delivering end-to-end solutions through the software lifecycle.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3–5 years taking delivery responsibility and providing end-to-end solutions.
• Understanding of Adobe XSD.
• Strong Node.js knowledge: extensive Node.js experience in a senior engineer role to drive backend solutions.
• Java knowledge:
  Java SE/EE, including frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for building microservices.
• Microservices architecture experience: design and implementation, service decomposition, API gateway, service discovery, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• RESTful APIs: design and consume RESTful services with JSON/XML handling and API versioning.
• Dev Ops mindset: familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
