Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Frontend Engineer to join the software engineering department for our insurance client. Day-to-day, their work will involve 75% new feature development and 25% production support. They will be building and maintaining a modern, responsive web portal application in a .NET environment using Type Script, HTML, and CSS. They’ll consume and integrate REST APIs built in ASP.NET

Core and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. This engineer will be responsible for delivering on-time, clean and reliable code, and contribute to system reliability while following development best practices and security standards. It’s essential for this individual to feel comfortable interacting with clients, business stakeholders, and operating within an agile scrum team. They must have great communication skills and an independent spirit.

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Well-versed in Angular (>18) and .NET/ASP.NET CORE
• Experience deploying/supporting applications in MS Azure cloud and services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and RESTful APIs
• Experience in production support and troubleshooting in live environments
• Ability to work in an agile environment and interact with clients and various business stakeholders
• Independent, self-motivated spirit and great communication skills - Experience in Oracle database development
• Proficiency in SQL
