We are partnering with a rapidly growing technology organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade applications. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead technical initiatives across product, platform, and infrastructure in a collaborative, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Application Development:
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures. - System Architecture:
Translate business and product requirements into robust technical designs, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. - Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering:
Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems leveraging AWS or Azure, containerization, and serverless technologies. - API & Integration Development:
Develop and maintain RESTful/Graph
QL APIs and integrate third-party services, internal systems, and data platforms. - Performance Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks, implement performance tuning strategies, and ensure high availability and resilience across environments. - Collaboration:
Partner closely with product managers, designers, Dev Ops, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. - Technical Leadership:
Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, contribute to code reviews, and champion engineering best practices and standards. - Documentation & Governance:
Maintain clear architectural documentation, technical specifications, and operational runbooks to support long-term scalability.
Skills:
Required:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack or backend development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Type Script, Python, or Go).
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with SQL and No
SQL databases. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops principles, and version control (Git).
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, startup-style environment with shifting priorities.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM templates).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, or similar).
- Experience scaling systems from MVP to enterprise-level architecture.
- Background in highly regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, or SaaS).
- Prior experience contributing to architectural decision-making and long-term technical strategy.
