Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – AI Governance
Your MissionDevelopment
- Support development of Java microservices/libraries, integrating with various AI platforms for One Trust’s AI Governance product. Design, develop, unit test applications deployed to Microsoft Azure using Core Java, REST and the Spring ecosystem.
- Maintain at least 80% code coverage or meet revised standards set by the team.
- Collaborate with UX, Product Managers, Product Owners and developers to contribute to planning, grooming sessions and drive team discussions on system architecture and component design.
- Ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal.
Support
- Work toward reducing the total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development.
- Ensure critical and high‑priority CIIs are delivered per SLA.
- Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality.
- Assist junior developers with development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing and/or test automation.
Lead
- Help build high‑performing teams by mentoring the team on new technical skills.
A self‑learner who is open to new technologies, processes, or techniques to improve the ability to deliver high‑quality software. Someone who asks questions to clarify gaps in understanding.
Your Experience Includes- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical or business field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering/development experience.
- Deep expertise with modern frameworks (Angular, React, Type Script) and large‑scale frontend architecture.
- Good understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON.
- Moderate understanding of code and script (Python, Bash).
- Good experience with SQL and No
SQL databases. - Ability to use a wide variety of open‑source technologies and cloud services.
- Familiarity with public cloud providers such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Proven experience building production‑grade agentic AI systems with robust tool‑use, guardrails, and observability for enterprise‑scale workloads.
- Working experience with one or more AI platforms like Amazon Sage Maker, Google Vertex, AWS Bedrock, etc.
- Familiarity with different databases (relational and document) is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, scaling, and management is highly desirable.
