Full stack Integration Engineer - Java​/React

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Full Stack Java/ React Integration Engineer

• Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices that handle video, audio, and image uploads.
• Integrate with Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech for transcription, text to speech, and data extraction.
• Design secure storage and retrieval of media using Azure Blob Storage and related services.
• Optimize performance, latency, and reliability for real time and batch AI workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on capture/playback APIs and workflows.
• Work with cloud, security, and governance teams to meet compliance and data protection requirements.

• Experience in Node.
  
  JS, RESTful API, and cloud computing (Azure or AWS) are a must.
• Hands on experience with Azure, including storage and containerized services.
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM services (e.g., OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, speech, vision).
• Strong understanding of secure API design and access control.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional engineering team and own solutions end to end.
• Effective communicator to various teams including developers, BAs, product managers, and QAs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient workflows and integrations.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Git Hub and experience with Git Hub source control.
• A methodical and detail-oriented mindset that uses logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience working with media files (audio/video/images) and related APIs.
• Experience with Web Sockets or streaming audio.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience in regulated or highly secure environments.

• Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• 5 years with React front end.
