Software Engineer II - Full Stack; Hybrid in Atlanta

About This Position

Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform, working across the full application delivery stack to design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, AWS, and more.

• Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while showcasing best design, communication, and solution practices in daily work.
• Continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence.

• BS in Computer Science or related area.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design for building scalable web applications and backend services.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• Experience with Java Spring, NodeJS, JavaScript/Type Script.
• Proficiency with at least one modern frontend framework (VueJS, React, or Angular).
• SQL and relational database expertise.
• REST API development skills.
• Automated testing experience (JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Vitest, or similar).
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Highly self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership, proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence.

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms.
• Familiarity with statistics and the healthcare domain.
• Expertise with distributed event‑streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Experience with data‑pipeline technologies.
