Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack

About this position

Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack.

• Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, AWS and more.
• Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams.
• Self‑reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily work.
• Continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence.

• BS in Computer Science or related area
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design for scalable web applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices such as version control, testing, and continuous integration
• Experience with Java, Spring, NodeJS, JavaScript/Type Script
• At least one modern front‑end framework (VueJS, React, or Angular)
• SQL and relational databases
• REST API development
• Automated testing experience (JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Vitest, or similar)
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Highly self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms
• Familiarity with statistics and the healthcare domain
• Expertise with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience with data pipeline technologies
