Senior Front-End Engineer

Finastra, a global leader in financial services software, is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to design and develop customer-facing AI chatbot experiences and modern front-end applications.

• Design and implement customer-facing chatbot UIs and front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions to support scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Build and evolve reusable component libraries and front-end patterns aligned with UX and branding standards.
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and AI/LLM-driven services.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and cross-browser issues.
• Support high-quality engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, UX designers, product, and engineering leadership to deliver end-to-end features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong front-end engineering culture.

• Extensive experience building complex front-end applications with React, Type Script, and modern JavaScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, including performance optimization and rendering strategies.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and front-end performance best practices.
• Proven experience integrating front-end applications with APIs (REST and/or Graph
  
  QL).
• Strong grasp of state-management patterns and front-end architecture.
• Experience owning features end-to-end in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Git/Git Hub in a collaborative, team-based development environment.
• Demonstrated interest or experience building AI-powered, conversational, or real-time applications.
