Jira Cloud Forge Developer Key Requirements

• This is not a position for a Jira administrator wanting to be a developer, or a developer without the following requirements. Must be an existing experienced Jira Forge developer that would hit the ground running.
• Proven experience developing Jira Cloud Forge applications, focusing on the following modules but not limited to; global pages, workflow validators, custom fields, panels, UI modifications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Jira REST APIs and integrating Jira with external systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script and React (UI Kit or Custom UI) for Forge app development.
• Ability to design and implement custom business logic, validation rules, and workflow extensions.
• Familiarity with Forge storage, resolvers, queues, and event‑driven functions.
• Solid understanding of the Jira framework and project configuration including but not limited to work item types, screens, fields, workflows, permissions, and their associated schemes.
• Solid understanding of application development best practices, including secure coding and scalable API usage.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored Jira solutions.
• Nice to have experience with:
  • Script Runner scripting
  • Power Scripts SIL scripting
  • Jira Expressions
