Lead Quality Engineer – Lead II - Software Testing The opportunity

• Lead QE activities for Corporate and Finance streams in an Agile delivery model
• Plan and drive sprint testing, automation execution, and release sign-off
• Leverage AI-based solutions for test generation, prioritization, defect trend analysis, and quality reporting
• Coordinate functional and automation testing using Selenium, Java, and REST APIs
• Manage test execution on cloud platforms like for faster feedback and scalability
• Validate end-to-end system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts across enterprise systems

• Experience:
  
  8-12 years
• Strong experience with Selenium, Java, REST APIs, cloud test execution platform (Lambda, Test grid, Sauce Labs etc), and release readiness
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest)
• Exposure to Gitlab and CICD tools
• Experience with integration testing and data validation across multiple systems
• Experience in Data Validation & Reconciliation Testing
• Strong Knowledge in Telecom (prepaid & postpaid) rating & billing, revenue assurance, tariff & discount logic, compliance & Tax, Regulatory
• Domain expertise in telecom, corporate, finance, and accounting workflows from sprint to production
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following company‑paid employee‑only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑and long‑term disability benefits.

Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short‑term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico. Part‑time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year).
