UI Engineer — Design

Atlanta, US Remote Full-time $95,000 – $140,000

The UI Engineer on the Design team sits at the intersection of design and engineering — building the production‑quality implementations of our design system components and ensuring that what ships in code matches what was designed in Figma. You are a designer who codes or an engineer who loves design — ideally both.

• Build and maintain the Winixx component library in code, implementing design system components with precision
• Work directly with the Design Systems Lead to translate Figma components into production‑ready React or Vue components
• Implement design tokens and theming infrastructure in the frontend codebase
• Conduct visual QA across Winixx product interfaces to identify and fix design implementation discrepancies
• Write Storybook stories for all design system components to enable developer discovery and testing
• Collaborate with product engineers to help them use design system components correctly
• Contribute to accessibility implementation across the component library
• Stay current on frontend tooling, CSS capabilities, and component architecture patterns

• 3+ years of frontend engineering experience with a strong design sensibility
• Proficiency in React or Vue.js with deep CSS and animation skills
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems in code
• Familiarity with Figma and ability to work directly from design specifications
• Experience with Storybook for component documentation and testing
  
  Strong eye for visual detail and pixel‑perfect implementation
• Understanding of accessibility implementation including ARIA patterns and keyboard navigation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent experience
