- Lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of multi‑phase features and tools with high business impact, ensuring stability and usability.
- Collaborate closely with Product Design, Product Management, and cross‑functional engineering teams to align on priorities and technical solutions.
- Act as a Golang subject‑matter expert, influencing internal teams and the external community on quality standards.
- Assess and break down large projects across multiple teams, evaluating trade‑offs to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Spot potential technical issues before they happen; recommend improvements to maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices, advancing adoption within the team and organization.
- Advocate for technical roadmaps that enhance organizational performance; participate in system‑wide debugging, maintenance, and production support.
- Mentor and coach peers through code reviews, pair programming, and design sessions.
High School Diploma / GED
Preferred EducationBachelor's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Professional experience developing with modern languages and frameworks, with a focus on Golang.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) focused on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Conflict‑resolution skills with the ability to proactively identify and address technical and project‑related challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and perceptiveness of team dynamics; ability to guide technical decisions for current and long‑term objectives.
- Innovative thinker who identifies improvement areas and proposes solutions that enhance roadmaps, processes, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in leveling up peers through code and design reviews, pair programming, and mentorship.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams, customers, or external communities to design solutions based on stakeholder needs.
- Experience using Hashi Corp products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
- Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
