Role: Senior Mulesoft Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote 4 days & 1 day Hybrid)
Visa: GC & USC
Employment type: W2 only
Interview: In-person interview mandatory
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop reusable and scalable integration frameworks and templates.
- Ensure quality, performance, and security of APIs by following best practices and standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues and implement enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, data flows, and integration designs.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of Mule Soft integrations in production environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including API design and integration development.
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, and/or OAS (OpenAPI Specification).
- Experience with Mule Soft components such as API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Data Weave.
- Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Mule Soft Certified Developer (MCD) or Mule Soft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
- Advanced experience in understanding requirements and translating them into technical designs using RAML, REST‑based APIs, SOAP services, and Mule connectors.
- Experience with Mule Soft version 4.2 or higher (currently on 4.3).
- Advanced knowledge of AnyPoint Platform 7.5+.
- Advanced experience creating RAML, and understanding protocols such as SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, JSON.
- Advanced experience writing and running MUnit tests.
- Strong work experience using web services/APIs to access and integrate with external systems.
- Advanced experience with database programming including JDBC and relational databases such as SQLServer or Oracle.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools surrounding Anypoint Platform using Bit Bucket, Bamboo, and Anypoint Runtime Manager.
- Developed architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation for metadata management, operational data stores, and ETL environments.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
