Under general supervision, design, develop, support, and maintain established DOR content management solutions and custom related applications that provide electronic images to content management systems and related systems.
Job SummaryUnder general supervision, design, develop, support, and maintain established DOR content management solutions and custom related applications that provide electronic images to content management systems. Candidates will research and analyze applications or various system issues and develop application documentation. Candidates will be required to translate business requirements into development activities in secure and maintainable code.
Eligibility- Candidate must be local to Metro Atlanta.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident.
- Candidate must live in the State of Georgia.
- Design, develop, support, and maintain established DOR Content Management Solutions and custom related applications that provide electronic images to IBM File Net or Docfinity, including web services interfacing to various DOR internal systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end solutions in Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving errors involving custom document content management solutions coded in the Microsoft .NET framework.
- Assist with planning upgrades, patching, and other maintenance tasks to keep site Content Management solutions modernized.
- Work with other internal application teams that scan/import images or files into the DOR site Content Management Solutions.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a similar field with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with the Microsoft .NET Framework, or a High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET Frameworks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with relational databases.
- Working experience with IBM P8 File Net.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems.
- Analysis, classification, and maintenance of system data and data relationships.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid/collaborative team environment.
- DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position.
- All employees will be fingerprinted.
- Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations and provide a Tax Clearance Letter due at the time of submission.
- Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired.
- During major projects/initiatives, a fully in-office presence may be required.
You can request a Tax Clearance Letter using the tax clearance web request on Georgia Tax Center (GTC) from the home page after logging in. The request is available for all tax types, including individuals and sole proprietors.
What you need to know:
- Requires a GTC logon.
- Available for all tax types.
- Checks for tax balances and delinquent periods under all accounts under the taxpayer.
- If all accounts are cleared, a Tax Clearance Letter will generate with the account types listed.
- If any of the accounts have a balance due or delinquent periods, a denial letter will be generated.
- The letter is generated overnight and viewable on GTC the next day.
- It will also be mailed.
