SQL & C Developer (Lead II - Software Engineering)

Position to build and maintain backend systems and services supporting healthcare applications, ensuring high performance, security, and data integrity.

• Develop and maintain applications and services using C and .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 6+ preferred).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Design, implement, and support relational database structures (SQL Server or similar).
• Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work on integration of external healthcare systems, APIs, and data feeds (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI 27x).
• Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment planning.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in C/.NET development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience working in the healthcare domain, including familiarity with claims, eligibility, or EHR/EMR systems.
• Understanding of data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Preferred:
  Experience with HL7, FHIR, or HIPAA 27x EDI transactions.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with data transformation or ETL pipelines.

Range: $82,000‑$123,000

Full‑time employees receive at least 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year, 10 paid holidays, paid bereavement leave, and jury duty. Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for employees and U.S. dependents. Part‑time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year and eligibility for the 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Full‑time temporary employees also receive 6 days of paid sick leave and 401(k) program. All employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
