Overview

Skills: TIBCO Jaspersoft Studio and Jasper Reports Server, REST/SOAP APIs, custom Java-based extensions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using TIBCO Jaspersoft Studio and Jasper Reports Server.
  • Develop complex JRXML templates, Ad Hoc Views, and Domain-based reports. Build and optimize subreports, crosstabs, and multi-band layouts.
  • Customize themes, styles, and report parameters to meet business requirements.
  • Connect and integrate Jaspersoft with multiple data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Work with structured and semi-structured data (XML, JSON, CSV, Excel). Implement input transformation, controls, parameters, and filters for dynamic reporting.
  • Tune JRXML and SQL queries for minimal execution time and server load.
  • Implement custom Java-based extensions for Jasper Reports (e.g., custom data sources, exporters, and for matters).
  • Use Groovy, Java, or JavaScript for advanced report logic.
  • Integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Jasper Reports Server in multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod). Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Handle scheduling, email delivery, and multi-format exports (PDF, Excel, HTML, Text, DOCX, PPTX).
