Job Description
Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site, dedicated Candidate, with skills and expertise as described below.
Responsibilities:
The Java Developer will be responsible for the integration and design of new application systems and/or enhancements to existing complex multi-platform (Java) Client Systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing requirements from business and technical/network personnel to determine project scope.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technical platforms for systems.
- Planning and analyzing integration across multiple technical platforms, including global system design and detailed program design for complex processes or interfaces.
- Reviewing database designs of new data structures and suggesting modifications to existing structures.
- Documenting and instructing on the structure and function of new applications and enhancements to ensure smooth operation within the Client environment.
Skills Required/Desired:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Required - Web development experience including programming and development of web applications
- Required, 5 Years - Experience with Java programming language
- Required, 5 Years - Proven track record in designing and implementing web applications using J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Flex, Hibernate, EJB 3.0, Struts, Oracle 10g
- Required, 5 Years - Experience in designing, coding, testing, and deploying J2EE applications in industry-standard container/application servers such as Websphere, Weblogic, or JBoss
- Required, 5 Years
