Job Description

The Digital Solutions Engineer is a highly hands‑on practitioner responsible for building, configuring, and supporting Adobe platforms. This role operates directly within Adobe Workfront
, Workfront Fusion
, and AEM
, delivering workflows, automations, integrations, and fixes—not just designing them.

This is an execution‑first role (70–80% hands‑on) requiring strong technical depth, automation mindset, and troubleshooting skills.

Required Skills (Must Have):
Candidates must have strong, hands‑on experience in the following areas:

• Deep hands‑on configuration and administration.
• Custom forms, workflows, and reporting.
• Security model (roles, permissions, access levels).
• Ongoing optimization and system cleanup.

• Build and manage end‑to‑end automations.
• Experience integrating Workfront with AEM and other systems.
• Troubleshoot failed scenarios and optimize automation flows.
• Automate intake, routing, notifications, and data synchronization.

• Hands‑on AEM Assets configuration, including metadata schemas, taxonomy, and folder structures.
• Asset workflows (ingestion, approvals, publishing).
• Permissions and access controls.
• Troubleshooting AEM issues (workflow failures, metadata, permissions).
• Supporting DAM operations and downstream usage.

• Strong experience with Python
  .
• Ability to build scripts for API integrations, data transformation and processing, and automation beyond platform‑native capabilities.
• Experience debugging integration and data issues using scripts.

• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs and Adobe APIs / Adobe I/O.
• Building and troubleshooting system integrations.
• Designing reliable, scalable automation patterns.

These are not required, but candidates should either have exposure or a strong willingness to learn:

• Journey creation (batch or real‑time).
• Event triggers, audiences, and decisioning.
• Messaging execution and delivery troubleshooting.

• Campaign workflow execution.
• Targeting, scheduling, and data mapping.
• QA, testing, and troubleshooting campaign issues.
• Expectation:
  Candidates without AJO/Campaign experience should demonstrate a clear ability and interest in learning these platforms as part of the role.

• Build and configure solutions directly in platforms (not just design).
• Own features end‑to‑end: build → deploy → support.
• Automate manual processes using Fusion and scripting.
• Troubleshoot platform, workflow, and integration issues.
• Support day‑to‑day operations for business users.
• Document solutions clearly for scalability and supportability.

• 4–7+ years of hands‑on platform experience (not just oversight).
• Proven expertise in Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AEM Assets, Python scripting / automation.
• Experience working in production environments and resolving live issues.

• Strong “builder” mindset.
• Comfortable debugging systems end‑to‑end (platform + integration + code).
• Able to manage multiple active workflows and production issues.
• Focused on automation, efficiency, and system reliability.
