Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong product-oriented mindset and hands‑on experience across the Azure data stack
, including Microsoft Fabric
. This role is ideal for an independent, self‑driven engineer who takes ownership of end‑to‑end data solutions and partners closely with product and business stakeholders.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms using Azure services and Microsoft Fabric
- Own data products end‑to‑end, from requirements and design through deployment and optimization
- Develop reliable, high‑quality datasets to support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications
- Collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers to translate business needs into data solutions
- Ensure data reliability, performance, security, and governance across platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve data architecture, tooling, and engineering best practices
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, making technical decisions aligned with product goals
- Experience as a Data Engineer working with the Azure data ecosystem
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Warehouses, or equivalent components)
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns (ELT/ETL, lakehouse, streaming, batch processing)
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver without heavy oversight
- Proven experience supporting product‑oriented or product‑led teams, rather than pure platform or support roles
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership mentality
- Experience working in agile or product‑driven development environments
- Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Azure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
- A self‑directed engineer who thrives in ambiguous problem spaces
- Someone who treats data solutions as products, not just pipelines
- A builder who values impact, quality, and long‑term maintainability
Pay Range $44.87/hour - $70.07/hour
