Role Overview
The Senior Service Now Developer will work with clients and team members to understand requirements and develop elegant solutions using the Service Now platform. They will be responsible for directing a junior developer and have a strong understanding of web application development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
What You Will Do- Analyze the current environment
- Propose automation
- Coordinate upgrades
- Manage permissions
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operations
- Maintain Service Catalog and Service Level Management
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service delivery concepts, experience with Service Now modules, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Requirements- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Service Now modules
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Service Now application development
- 3-5 years of development experience with web or mobile applications
- Basic understanding of Service Now Platform and its capabilities
- Experience with web technologies:
JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL - Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML)
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
