Senior Managers of Engineering at One Trust will make long‑term strategic and technical contributions. These individuals set strategic goals for the team, hire engineers, prioritize projects, and are involved technically in developing new products, identifying requirements, and executing with excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Drive strategic planning and execution while developing key technologies that will enhance One Trust's long‑term, proprietary strategic position.
- Create new concepts from initial design all the way to market release.
- Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resource availability.
- Implement innovative technologies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical oversight to your team.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to schedule.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes.
- Build onboarding and mentoring programs to teach and train other engineers, incubating individual and team growth.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise‑class software with material market impact.
- Recent experience in development, operations, troubleshooting, and managing teams.
- Experience building and/or contributing to a component library.
- Knowledge of coding and designing with Angular.
- Experience using design systems to drive library design.
- Affinity for writing high‑performance, reusable code for components used across an entire platform.
- Interest in creating an inclusive and accessible user experience following WCAG compliance standards.
- Proven critical thinking, advanced analytical skills.
- Solid consulting skills and diplomatic conflict‑management skills.
- Deep sense of ownership and drive.
- System design and architecture experience with large complex systems.
- Deep knowledge of data structures and programming.
- Solid comprehension of agile software development lifecycle.
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington‑based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is $166,875 – $ USD. Individual pay is determined by location, job‑related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
