Sr. Angular Lead

Job Summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Sr. Angular Lead to join its global technology team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications using Angular 13–16. The ideal candidate will possess strong front-end architecture expertise, deep Angular development experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade applications that support critical business operations.

• Develop advanced single-page applications using Angular versions 13–16.
• Build responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces supporting complex business workflows.
• Create reusable Angular components, services, and state management solutions.
• Optimize application performance through lazy loading, efficient change detection strategies, and bundle size optimization.
• Integrate secure APIs and collaborate closely with backend development teams.
• Develop and maintain unit and component tests to improve code quality and coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards, accessibility requirements, and security best practices.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Manage Angular build configurations, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Monitor production applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and component usage guidelines.
• Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and visually consistent user experiences.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Support production issue resolution and implement long-term stability improvements.

• 8–11 years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise-scale web applications using Angular.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project leadership.

• Experience optimizing front‑end performance for large‑scale enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern front‑end build tools.
• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
