GIS Developer Atlanta;

GIS Developer – design, build, and support advanced geospatial applications across utility infrastructure, vegetation management, asset management, and operational planning programs. This role bridges software engineering and geographic science, delivering scalable GIS solutions. Candidates located in the Atlanta, GA area are preferred for this in‑office position.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom GIS web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Arc Py) for geoprocessing, validation, and data transformation.
• Design and maintain enterprise spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Integrate GIS platforms with enterprise systems such as asset management, ERP, cloud, and CRM platforms.
• Develop and consume REST APIs for system integration and workflow automation.
• Implement advanced spatial analysis to support planning and operational decision‑making.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts, engineers, and IT partners to deliver scalable solutions.

• Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6+ years of professional GIS development experience.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS platforms and/or QGIS.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern web technologies.
