The SharePoint Developer will apply current technologies/methods to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint foundation-based application(s). This includes managing the site content, site capabilities and providing daily maintenance of the existing application(s). Participates in the testing process through review, analysis, and implementation. Familiarity with standard SharePoint concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work with DOR business stakeholders daily.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be able to perform the following duties- Working with COTS SharePoint-based software, requiring back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configuration.
- Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performing software design using software development fundamentals and processes; debugging, testing, and deploying software solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Foundation and front-end application configurations.
- Troubleshoot software issues.
- Implementation of SharePoint Foundation-based workflows.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Develop proof of concept examples.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- 5 + years’ experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer. coding (C#, VB. Net) desired.
- 5 + years’ experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
- Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
- Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.
- Familiarity with Lanteria HR Software is desired.
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must clear a criminal background check (includes fingerprinting).
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must complete a tax check and remain compliant with Georgia tax obligations.
- This will be a hybrid work schedule of teleworking and in-office days.
- Candidate must be local to Atlanta/Metro Atlanta.
