Overview
Candidate MUST be local to the Metro Atlanta area. Tax Clearance Letter is required at the time of submission (please review compliance tab for instructions on how the candidate must obtain this letter).
Responsibilities- Apply current technologies and methods to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint foundation-based applications.
- Manage site content, site capabilities, and provide daily maintenance of existing applications.
- Participate in the testing process through review, analysis, and implementation.
- Utilize familiarity with standard SharePoint concepts, practices, and procedures; rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Work with DOR business stakeholders daily.
- Work with COTS software that is SharePoint-based, including back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configurations.
- Develop software solutions by studying requirements, conferring with stakeholders and IT management, analyzing systems flow and data usage; design, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Foundation and front-end configurations.
- Troubleshoot software issues and implement SharePoint Foundation-based workflows.
- Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code.
- Develop proof-of-concept examples.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- 5+ years’ experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer; other .NET coding (C#, ) desired.
- 5+ years’ experience as a SharePoint Developer in analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
- Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, error-free deliverables.
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline is desired.
- Familiarity with Lanteria HR Software is desired.
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must clear a criminal background check (includes fingerprinting).
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must complete a tax check and remain compliant with Georgia tax obligations.
- This will be a hybrid work schedule of teleworking and in-office days.
- Candidate must be local to Atlanta/Metro Atlanta.
