Sr Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, AWS cloud technologies, and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on developer who is passionate about building scalable applications, working with microservices architecture, and leveraging emerging AI technologies to accelerate software development. This role requires a strong blend of backend and frontend development experience and a willingness to take on new technical challenges.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Python development.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services and cloud‑native application development.
• Experience building and supporting Microservices‑based applications.
• Strong understanding of Full Stack development principles.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges.

• AWS Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with AI tools, AI agents, or AI‑assisted software development.
• UI/Frontend development experience with modern frameworks and technologies.
• Experience working on mobile application‑related projects.
• Exposure to software engineering best practices, Dev Ops, and cloud architecture.

This posting is for a contract assignment with ASK Staffing DBA ASK Consulting to provide services to COX Enterprises. The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is the following range ($70/hr - $72.46/hr). While the final, individual compensation and any available benefits will be determined by your employer of record ASK Staffing, Inc (and not COX), factors that will be included in making the final determination may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location where the job is performed.
