We are looking for a Senior Lead AI Engineer to drive the development and production deployment of scalable AI and ML solutions. This role is hands on, responsible for technical implementation and project management.

The ideal candidate has successfully taken Agentic AI GenAI systems from build to enterprise scale production with deep expertise in cloud platforms and modern AI frameworks.

• Own end to end AI system design across GenAI ML pipelines and agentic workflows
• Architect scalable RAG platforms integrating multiple data sources, embeddings, and vector search
• Govern agent based intake systems with validation, decisioning, orchestration, and human in the loop controls
• Define LLMOps MLOps standards, evaluation, monitoring, drift detection, cost governance, and release management
• Guide model selection, prompt strategies, fine tuning, and performance optimization
• Mentor AI engineers and provide design and code reviews
• Partner with product owners, risk and compliance leaders to align AI solutions

• Python, FastAPI, and ML libraries
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, RAG patterns
• LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, and retrieval systems
• Vector databases, document stores, and structured logging
• Cloud AI platforms and containerized deployments
• SQL data pipelines and schema driven data processing
• Strong knowledge of Lang Chain for language processing
• Advanced skills in prompt engineering for AI optimization
• Strong hands on experience with one or more of AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions

Base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $99,712 - $168,716.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to:

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
