Apply now for the position of Data Engineer, and you will help deliver reliable and scalable data solutions that enable oncology care providers, hospitals, and universities to make data-driven decisions. This role sits within the Data Reliability Engineering (DRE) team and reports to the Senior Engineering Manager. The position plays a key role in ensuring data quality, system reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of analytics and cloud-based solutions supporting ARIA CORE Insights.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions that support oncology operational insights and reporting.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud‑based data platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Investigate technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely resolutions.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements that enhance scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Analytics teams, and customer‑facing teams to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
- Serve as a customer‑facing liaison to address problems and identify solutions.
- Validate deployments, system changes, and upgrades to ensure stable and reliable operations.
- 0‑2 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics, or technical support.
- Programming experience with Java and/or Python, SQL, relational databases, and cloud technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases; exposure to data warehousing technologies, hands‑on Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of ETL processes, data quality, and scalable data architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot and modern development techniques such as vibe coding, spec‑driven development to support software development, data analysis, and automation initiatives.
- Domain knowledge in healthcare and oncology data is desirable.
Base pay range: $72,860 - $100,188. Factors such as geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications influence the starting pay.
