Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer to join their team.

Summary:

The team is seeking an Engineer to join and assist with buildout/integrations of all the inventory supply chain applications. This application is important for the client's goal of meeting shipping speeds in a timely manner. They also have another team who assists in buildout of applications that manage the inventory for the client, in certain locations/centers.

The client is taking on a new initiative that will create an uptick in available work needed to be done for their current applications, as they will be needing to rebuild all APIs, perform new integrations, and add new features to the UI. They are looking for Engineers to assist with the rebuild and have a full stack with react UI, Java/Spring Boot, backend and some form of experience using AI tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years of experience

* Experience with both Java and React

* Experience with Spring Boot

* Cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform/Kubernetes/Docker)

* Database experience (Oracle, No

SQL, etc. flexible here)

* Experience utilizing AI tools (they use Claude and Gemini)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
