Job Summary The System Integration Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and testing new software features for ADTRAN’s optical transport equipment within an Agile Development team.# Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and execute system integration test plans, test cases, and user cases to meet the requirements and prevent defects
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites
* Configure and maintain test environments, including network configurations
* Document, track, and verify defects in test management system
* Support internal and external customers
* Understand the product architecture, design, operation, and test tools
* Learn new technologies, test methods, and usage of test equipment# # Qualifications
* BS in Computer Engineering
* 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
* Proficiency with Python programming language or other programming/scripting languages
* Able to work at a desk majority of the day; standing in an upright position for continuous periods of time; moderate lifting 15 - 44 lbs.
* Self-motivated to achieve team goals and able to drive individual tasks to completion
