Service Now Developer
Location:
Atlanta, Georgia
As a Service Now Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions to meet our business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze requirements, and leverage your technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions on the Service Now platform.
Responsibilities:- Service Now Development:
- Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure Service Now modules, workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Service Now enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Integration and Automation:
- Integrate Service Now with other business systems and applications.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Service Now instances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now functionality.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Service Now configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and enhancements.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and business analysts.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Service Now Developer with a focus on development and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Service Now platform features, including modules, workflows, and scripting.
- Experience with Service Now integration using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Service Now Developer Certification.
- Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Knowledge of Service Now scripting languages such as JavaScript.
- Previous experience in [industry/sector] is a plus.
