Software Engineer Intern

Ogun Space is developing technology to enable reliable metal manufacturing in space. We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to build software supporting research, simulation, data analysis, automation, and experimental systems.

This is a paid, temporary, non-exempt internship paying $45 per hour.

• Build, test, and document software for technical and research applications
• Develop internal tools, data pipelines, simulations, dashboards, or automation systems
• Work with engineers and researchers to translate complex problems into practical software
• Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability
• Contribute to a meaningful project with clear ownership and measurable outcomes

• Experience programming in at least one language
• Familiarity with software development, debugging, and version control
• Evidence of building projects through coursework, research, employment, open source, or independent work
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Interest in aerospace, scientific computing, advanced manufacturing, or complex technical systems

Experience in aerospace is not required. Students and early-career candidates from a wide range of technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
