Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) / Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD processes, and modern testing tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data.
- Validate REST/SOAP APIs using automation tools and frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure software quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application quality through automation and continuous testing.
- 4–8+ years of experience in software testing, SDET, or test automation engineering.
- Strong experience in test automation using Selenium Web Driver, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# programming.
- Experience with API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins/Azure Dev Ops, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with healthcare domain applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Individual Contributor responsible for ensuring application quality through automation, continuous testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
