We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Commissioning Engineer with direct experience in Warehouse Automation, WES, WCS, WMS, Material Handling Systems, and Software Commissioning.
This role involves software implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, system integration, and supporting successful go-live activities for enterprise warehouse automation projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCECandidates must have 2+ years of direct experience in one or more of the following:
- Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)
- Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Warehouse Automation
- Warehouse System Integration
- Software Commissioning
- Distribution, Fulfillment, or Supply Chain Automation
Candidates with experience limited to Software Development, PLC Programming, Robotics, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Automation, or Industrial Automation will NOT be considered unless they also have direct Warehouse Automation experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Support software implementation, testing, commissioning, and go-live activities
- Develop and execute software test plans and test cases
- Validate software functionality and system integrations
- Troubleshoot software, integration, and operational issues
- Support production and high-priority customer issues
- Work closely with Software Development, QA, Project Management, and Operations teams
- Participate in project planning and implementation activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Identify process improvements and system enhancements
- Lead post go-live reviews and lessons learned
- Mentor junior commissioning engineers
- Travel to client locations as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of direct Warehouse Automation experience
- Experience with WES, WCS, WMS, Material Handling Systems, or Warehouse System Integration
- Experience supporting software implementation and commissioning projects
- Strong understanding of software testing and system integration
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with databases and file management systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
