Senior Application Developer

As a Senior Application Developer at Cargill, you will design, build, and optimize enterprise applications that power global food and beverage operations. Partnering with IT and business stakeholders, you'll translate complex supply chain and production needs into secure, scalable solutions. You will lead full SDLC delivery, integrate with ERP and manufacturing systems, and champion cloud-first, API-driven architectures. In Cargill's culture of integrity, safety, and inclusive growth, you'll mentor developers, drive Dev Ops and CI/CD best practices, and innovate to support food security and sustainability worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for food and beverage operations.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Lead end-to-end SDLC, including architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate applications with ERP, manufacturing, and supply chain systems.
• Implement and manage cloud-based, API-driven solutions.
• Drive Dev
• Ops practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with IT standards.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
