Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking an Agentic AI Data Solution Architect for our customer at the CDC. This role will be a key engine behind our AI development team, delivering functional AI prototypes within a fast-paced 3-4-week timeline. The team works to quickly validate innovative AI use case ideas for our clients. We're looking for a hands-on Architect who can seamlessly blend expertise in modern AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, chatbots, NLP) with hands-on full-stack development and cloud deployments to create scalable, impactful prototypes.
The architect will leverage knowledge of the design and implementation of base architectures, data modeling for AI agents, Memory and State Management, and construction of RAG Pipeline Design. They will need to familiarize themselves with the CDC operating environment such that their solutions can be practically implemented. They will also ensure compliance with federal enterprise technology requirements, data privacy standards, anonymization protocols, and ethical guidelines critical to public health data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver functional AI prototypes within rapid 3-4 week sprint cycles, integrating modern AI technologies such as LLMs, chatbots, NLP models, and agentic architectures.
- Architect scalable AI solutions, including base system architectures, data modeling for AI agents, memory/state management, and end to end RAG pipeline design.
- Develop and deploy full stack components (e.g., React.js interfaces, backend services, cloud infrastructure) to support interactive AI workflows and prototype usability.
- Ensure compliance and responsible AI implementation, following federal and CDC requirements for data governance, privacy, anonymization, and ethical standards in public health environments.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, public health experts, and client stakeholders to validate use cases, refine solution approaches, and ensure prototypes align with operational constraints and mission needs.
