Our client is seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement Service Now solutions to meet business and IT needs. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, integrate Service Now with other systems, and provide ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with the Service Now platform, configuration, customization, scripting, workflows, integrations, and automation.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure Service Now modules, workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Service Now enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Integrate Service Now with other business systems and applications.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Service Now instances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Service Now configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Keep documentation up to date with changes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT operations, security, and business analysts.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Service Now Developer with a strong focus on development and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Service Now platform features, including modules, workflows, and scripting.
- Experience with Service Now integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Service Now Developer Certification.
- Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Service Now scripting and automation.
- Previous experience working in an enterprise IT environment is a plus.
