Tech Consultant - SDET .NET Automation

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual testing and advanced test automation. The role focuses on applications built on .NET Framework and .NET Core platforms, including UI, API, and integration testing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, adaptable contributor, and strong owner who continuously seeks to improve testing strategies and processes and is open to expanding into Java-based application testing as technology needs evolve.

This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office.

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Validate application functionality against business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects early in the software lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple environments.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and maintain appropriate documentation and traceability.
• Contribute to test planning, test data management, and release validation activities.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes to increase coverage and efficiency.

• 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience testing applications built on .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• 1+ year of experience with test automation using C# and modern frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, Selenium, and Playwright.
• 2+ years of experience with API testing using REST/SOAP and tools such as Postman and Rest Sharp.

• Experience with data migration testing, including ETL validation, data reconciliation, and source-to-target comparisons.
• Exposure to event-driven or microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with or strong interest in Java-based testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Rest Assured.
• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Knowledge of contract testing and API validation strategies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
