Basic Function

Ensure daily operational performance goals are met by providing leadership for the labor force in the passenger terminal areas through service, maintenance, collections, and communication to improve productivity, vend quality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance and responsiveness to fluctuating workloads.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.
  • Perform Cart Associate duties as supervised, including but not limited to: collecting and transporting carts for customer use, providing customer service to airport passengers, and light cleaning of carts and rental equipment.
  • Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.
  • Review work throughout the process and at completion to ensure proper performance.
  • Explain regulations, policies, or procedures.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain excellent communication with employees, facility management, airline management, and other officials (CBP, TSA, FBI, etc.).
  • Inspect equipment (carts, CMUs, Cushmans, etc.), perform emergency maintenance or remove equipment from service, report maintenance needs.
  • Assist with collections and recording of money; document meter readings.
  • Assess training needs of staff and arrange or provide appropriate instruction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Computer and smartphone proficient.
  • Excellent customer service and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Ability to obtain an Airport Badge is required.
  • Driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 40 lbs; push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
