The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities to ensure the efficient, cost‑effective, and timely movement of goods. This role manages shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation activities while ensuring compliance with company policies, USDA regulations, and international shipping requirements
ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations for domestic and international shipments of frozen and refrigerated meat products across North America.
- Plan and schedule shipments to meet customer deadlines and minimize demurrage or detention costs.
- Coordinate with trucking companies and cold storage facilities to maintain product integrity for temperature-controlled shipments.
- Ensure adherence to USDA and international export regulations, including necessary certifications, permits, and health documentation.
- Maintain strong communication with buyers and sales teams to support smooth order fulfillment and on time delivery.
- Maintain daily communication with transportation providers, customs brokers, inspection facilities, and other logistics partners.
- Build strong working relationships to support efficient logistics operations.

Education/ExperienceThis is an entry-level position and onsite training will be provided.
Fluency in PROFESSIONAL SPANISH & ENGLISH, including speaking, writing, and reading, is required for this role. The ability to read and interpret documents such as health certificates, bills of lading, and other export documents is essential. Additionally, the ability to write routine reports and correspondence is required.
Computer SkillsMicrosoft Office and basic computer skills are required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position is in the office.
Salary RangeThe salary range for this role is 45K - 55K
