About the OpportunityVelocity Rail Solutions is seeking dependable CDL Class A Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join our elite team. We have an open PM shift position available focused on fueling locomotives, including loading and transferring red‑dyed diesel.
Job Duties- Operate as a mobile gas station for the railroad, loading red‑dyed diesel and fueling locomotives using a tractor‑trailer tanker.
- Work on an on‑call basis during your shift — paid for the full 12 hours regardless of the number of dispatches.
- Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate fuel logs, delivery records, and inventory documentation.
- Communicate effectively with railroad personnel to coordinate fueling operations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols during transport and fueling.
- CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements. No Automatic Restriction.
- 1 year tractor‑trailer driving experience (hazmat hauling experience not required).
- Ability to pass DOT and company background checks.
- No drug or alcohol violations in your Clearinghouse.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong communication and time‑management skills.

- Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions.
- Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Weekly pay with built‑in overtime (first 40 hours, overtime after that).
- Pay: $78,890 + annual earnings; $1,680/week for 60‑hour weeks (pre‑tax).
- Night shift schedule: 60‑60‑48 hour 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM with rotating mid‑week days off.
- Overtime pays after 40 hours.
- Paid training and “Paid Holidays”.
- Vacation time accrues on day one, may be used, carried over or cashed out.
