Job Overview

Hazmat Delivery Courier - Contract Opportunity at Life Couriers. Life Couriers is a leader in freight transportation and third‑party logistics, specializing in medical and pharmaceutical delivery.

• Routed Deliveries – various routes with recurring schedules; routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs.
• STAT/On‑Demand – pick‑ups and rush orders dispatched from a route manager or customer.
• Backup/Standby – last‑minute fill‑in for routes due to increased daily volume.

Picking up and delivering pharmaceuticals, medical therapies, generators, and medical supplies.

Sunday – Friday 4 pm to 4 am.

• Earned per mile, per route, or per stop, with variable fuel surcharge in some markets.
• Paid weekly through third‑party pay administrator Openforce.

• Eligible contractors between 21 and 75 years of age.
• Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License Class A, B, or
  
  C.
• Valid and current DOT Hazmat Endorsement.
• Valid and current DOT Med Card.
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 100 lb.
• Availability to cover required hours of service.
• Live within 25 mi of ZIP 30336.
• Own a reliable and registered SUV, minivan, cargo van, or sprinter van (2011 or newer).
• Maintain state minimum requirements for bodily injury and property damage as primary auto insurance.
• Optionally maintain own qualifying workers’ compensation insurance or enroll in Occupational Accident Insurance program.
• Sign up with an EIN as a company or a US SSN as a sole proprietorship.
• Complete contractor‑qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
• Have an iPhone or Android smartphone for GPS order tracking and scanning.
• Willing to drive in inclement weather.
• Adhere to customer required professional appearance standards:
  • Solid black, gray, or light blue polo shirt.
  • Solid colored, clean khaki or jean pants.
  • Comfortable shoes or boots; no flip‑flops, high heels, or sandals.
