OTAD Inc., an Amazon Delivery Service Provider, is hiring Delivery Specialists II for the south Atlanta metro delivery service area. We are looking for energetic, service-oriented, and driven individuals to join our operations. The Delivery Specialist II will deliver packages to residential areas, retail locations, delivery hubs, and Amazon lockers. Successful candidates will adhere to the company’s focus on service and our commitment to provide “on‑time accurate delivery” to the Amazon customers.
GeneralResponsibilities
- Drive a delivery van on highways and residential areas in order to deliver packages; abiding by all transportation laws and traffic standards
- Review, sort, stack and load packages on the vehicle; ensure that all items are scanned and processed prior to departure
- Process deliveries with a handheld electronic device accurately and manages delivery progress
- Provides excellent customer service and displays a positive and professional attitude with customers and team members
- May assist in training other Delivery Specialist or assist with general tasks
- Prepare reports and other documents related to deliveries and delivery center operations
- Maintains a safe driving record
- Able to operate a delivery van with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,000 lbs or more
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively use a GPS navigation system
- Use a hand‑held electronic device to process and complete deliveries
- Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50lbs
- Ability to walk, lift, kneel, bend, or carry packages for extended periods of time, and sometimes possibly having to walk up and down flights of stairs
- Delivery locations may require the delivery specialist to make up to 250 stops per day and move in and out of the vehicle each time
- Able to work a 40‑hour work week; organized into four 10‑hour work days
- Must consent to and pass a drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check
- Adheres to assigned routes, schedules, safety protocols, and transportations laws
- Strong time management and individual organization standards
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
- Must be at least 21+ years of age
- Maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of Georgia
- Department of Transportation Certification
- Must pass a criminal background screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check
- High‑school diploma or equivalent
- Competitive compensations: $16.00 per hour starting rate and performance incentive bonuses;
